DISCLAIMER

This blog content about ‘Microplastics The Antidote’ or any information contained herein is NOT to be taken as Medical Advice; please consult your professional medical practitioner to establish a treatment plan recommended for you.  In saying that we don’t need permission to research our own remedies either, but this is my disclaimer all the same.  You choose what’s right for you!

Down the Research Rabbit Hole

If you haven’t read the first part of this blog, please refer to the article I wrote before this one, called MICROPLASTIC Mayhem; I highly recommend you start there and then return to this blog.

In the past few months, I have spent quite some time down the rabbit hole researching microplastics.  I contacted a few friends in my network who are into all things health and work in similar fields. One of them, Katie, who happens to be one of my long-term best mates, has been working for years to reduce the heavy metals in her body from working in the mines.

She referred me to a product called BlueZone, which, in essence, is Methylene Blue, which may be just what I needed.  Katie gave me a link to research the product, and I  contacted the owner to discuss what was going on for me and if she could provide me with further information about the product.  Upon studying and discussing with the owner via email, I decided on a few items I needed intuitively.

Methylene Blue

If you research Methylene Blue, it’s used in hospitals to treat Methemoglobinemia.  Methemoglobinemia is when the blood has too much methemoglobin, a form of hemoglobin that can’t carry oxygen well.  It can lead to symptoms like blue-coloured skin, shortness of breath, and fatigue.  The primary treatment is methylene blue, which helps return methemoglobin to its normal form so it can carry oxygen again.

Methylene Blue has also been used as dye or ink inside the body for diagnostic and therapeutic purposes, such as surgical markers, sentinel lymph node mapping, diagnostic staining, urinary tract procedures, and more. It’s used due to its strong blue staining properties and it’s safety profile when used in controlled amounts.

Cyanide poisoning is another thing Methylene Blue has been known to treat, and outside of the hospital, it is said to have a truckload of benefits, including targeting dysfunctional cells and tissues, heavy metals, parasites, snake venom, enhancing memory, improving brain function, pain relief and much more.

At this point in my blog, I want to remind you of my DISCLAIMER at the top: None of this blog post is medical advice. I am sharing my research and story of what I have personally decided and been guided to do to heal my body.

There are pros and cons all over the internet regarding using Methylene Blue, so I am not saying to use it. I am saying to do your own research and speak to your doctor or health care professional or whoever you deem necessary to consult with because I’m one of those people who, if it feels right for me, and the right people or hierarchy guide me, I will go for it.

The Products I Ordered

So, based on the recommendation, research and guidance I received, I ordered the following products:

BluZone – Methylene Blue

Belly Bugz – Certified Organic Prebiotics and Probiotics

Organic MSM – 100% Pure Methylsulfonylmethane

and

TranZinc Spray

Miracle Products Shop BlueZone

Method to My Madness

There is a method to my madness as to why I ordered all of the above:

Methylene Blue is used to treat and dissolve the microplastics. You may think I’m crazy for drinking this blue drink, but I’ve known Katie since we started high school, so it’s been a long time, and I trusted her suggestion. Plus, she’s previously drank it, too, and survived.

The Belly Bugz was because, in discussion, they contain the two biotics to help detox the microplastics from the body upon researching, which are said to be:

Lactobacillus acidophilus and Bifidobacterium bifidum: Is this factually true? I don’t know; I’m not a Doctor or scientist, but it’s worth a try, going by a Doctor I came across on YouTube.  Given the ingredients are all-natural and organic, I’m sure it can’t hurt.

I initially purchased the Organic MSM for my son, who tore ligaments while playing soccer, and the TranZinc Spray for my daughter. I read that you can inhale the TranZinc for allergy relief, which I figured would be helpful during hay fever season.

The Antidote is Blue Methylene

What if Factor

Upon ordering the products a few days later, I was thinking of the whole
‘WHAT IF’ factor.

What if these products don’t work? What will this all mean? What will happen to me?

Here I am, a Life Purpose and Holistic Health Coach, and what if I get sick? Who’s going to take any notice or want to work with me?

At the end of the day, though, this could happen to any of us; it could be happening to many of us, and we don’t even know it.

If you’ve read my book DIVINITY, you’ll know I have worked personally on myself for many years, and I have reached a point in my life where I have a pretty good connection with my guides, higher self, and source energy.  When I chat with friends, I tell them, ‘Upstairs told me’.  One of my girlfriends the other week asked what I meant by upstairs.  It’s a bit woo-woo for some and not for others.  I refer to them as upstairs purely because I’m referring to the guidance from that of a higher vibration/realm/dimension to us physically on earth, not for any other reason, and it makes it easy to refer to in conversations.

So I woke this morning to upstairs telling me, THE ANTIDOTE IS BLUE.’  As you can imagine, I was stoked; I’m pretty sure from what I recall, in  my thoughts, it was ‘Hell Yeah!!!’  I had gone from such a lull in my thoughts of where I could end up, to  ‘I’M GOING TO BEAT THIS!’

The products all arrived, and I picked them up on my way to my Kinesiology appointment, which I had booked purposely to confirm through muscle testing and timelining if the products were suitable for me and when to take them—although I had already been given the green light ‘from upstairs’ for the BlueZone.

So Where Exactly are These Microplastics?

Upon testing my body, the microplastics were located just at my pylorus (between my stomach and the small intestine). A part of my body had encapsulated around the microplastics to try to protect the rest of my body from damage, which is precisely where I could feel it internally.

I was becoming very in tune with the feeling of the inflammation; I could feel it when certain foods or drinks aggravated it. I had replaced drinking alcohol as a treat on weekends with kombucha or soda water with lime as a treat, but my body has decided that it doesn’t like carbon dioxide bubbles either now.  So Alkaline water and a squeeze of lime in a wine glass it is.  I’ve also found that having herbal tea at night has been really helpful in relaxing and relieving any bloating.

Treatment and Dosages

It turned out spot on with the BlueZone – Methylene Blue, which wasn’t a surprise, but I guess the timeline was a little, as I need to take it for up to 11 months—two weeks on, then four weeks detoxing from it, two weeks on, four weeks detoxing—continued for 11 months.

Belly Bugz was a good choice, too; I must take it every fourth day, morning and night, for three months.

The Organic MSM that I purchased for my son’s torn ligaments turned out to be for me, not him, which I am to take once a month.

The TranZinc that I purchased for my daughter and myself – was what my son needed for a month’s use while his torn ligaments were repaired, as he needed Zinc.

So, I was close with the treatment plan; none of my purchases were wasted, and I now had my whole dosage worked out for the coming year.

I should have put timelines in my calendar straight away, although I did do the two weeks as I was supposed to on the Methylene Blue. I was on my four-week detox from it, and I was feeling really good.

Then I woke up on a particular morning, not feeling 100% in my stomach area.

I was at work and started to feel that little bit of internal inflammation again. I was thinking, geez, I must be due to go back on it, so I worked it out on the calendar, ‘to the day’ I was due to go back on the BlueZone, Methylene Blue—there you go. If we listen and tap into intuition and our bodies, they can give us the answers.

So my theme song for this year is now ‘I’m Good (Blue) by David Guetta, Bebe Rexha.  I could turn into a Smurf, Avatar, or an Arcturian, but I think the alternative is much worse.

Colonic Hydrotherapy

If you’ve had a child, you’ll know as a Mother, we don’t care anymore; all dignity went out the window that day.  I had intuitively decided after doing Reiki and Crystal Healing on myself that I wanted to ensure I could release and get rid of as much toxic build-up as I could, so I booked in for Colonic Hydrotherapy at Happy Healthy Co in Shepparton.

Lisa is fabulous; she made me feel so comfortable; we chatted through the process, and I apologised a lot.  OMG, you have to laugh.  It’s not painful in any way, shape or form, and it was a massive release both energetically and physically; I felt great afterwards.  When I went home and had a nice warm shower, I looked at myself in the mirror and thought, ‘Man’ my belly is flat as a tack, like before I had kids, I think I lost around 3kg over those couple of days, not that I needed to, but I was obviously full of shit!  This blog post has been fun to write; I’m laughing as I write it; although it’s a very serious topic, I can’t help but be light-hearted with it.

Do your research and investigation about colonic irrigations, too, but ‘keep an open mind.’ Although it reduces harmful and good bacteria, when you have a colonic, you must build your immunity back up.  Going back to eating everyday foods is a slow process, so you would want to eat more gentle, nurturing foods for your body and get plenty of rest, as I felt a little fatigued the following couple of days.  As a suggestion, I’d probably have one on a Friday, and then you have the weekend to rest.  But all in all, I thoroughly recommend one, especially if you’re full of toxic shit and need a good detox, sorry not sorry.  By Monday, I felt great and was back to my usual self.

Purple Glass Recycle Bins

Now I’m a nazi when it comes to the bins (I am laughing, but I’m a bit of an environmentalist, and I use the correct bin.)

I don’t know how many times I’ve heard people say, ‘Who gives a shit’ – unfortunately it does matter; the toxic chemicals that leach into our body causing chaos leach into the air and the earth, too, so please do your thing for the next generation at least.  If we look around the world at the waste they have to live with around them, we’re a bloody lucky country to have a waste management service like we do.

I’m glad we just got our purple bins delivered by the council, the new recycle bins for glass, especially given I am more diligent now in ensuring that if I can buy food in glass or jars, I am rather than buying anything in plastic or cans.  Our bins are going to sound like an alcoholic lives here.

Gamify it—get some extra weightlifting in when you shop. I’m in trouble as I’m one of those heroes who’s usually clever and saves time with one trip after I empty the trolley and carry four bags to the car; it may take an extra trip.

So How Do We Reduce Our Exposure to Microplastics

There are various ways you can reduce your exposure to microplastics. The biggest is to be mindful. If there’s a choice to not purchase a product made of plastic, opt for the no-plastic option.

Get a copy of my FREE Guide – Reducing Microplastic Exposure for Everyday Life below; you may be surprised by the difference you can make in your home.  Also, don’t worry—I won’t spam you with emails.

I’m not just suggesting these lifestyle swaps in my guide; I’m taking my own advice based on what I’ve researched to limit my and my family’s exposure.

You may not like this suggestion, but consider buying a good vacuum and vacuuming regularly. Various products in our houses, from our blinds to carpets to couches, shed microplastics daily, depending on what they are made of.

Luckily for me, my 5-year-old vacuum died the other week, so I purchased a new one, which I’m in love with—and it was good timing. It’s sad to say, but I’m loving vacuuming in the dark with my new Dyson while I listen to music; it’s so satisfying, but it’s frightening when you can see what’s on your floors. I hate cleaning, but I’m also a bit OCD.

I’m trying to eat as clean as I can. I didn’t think I purchased that much in plastic, but even organic food can be wrapped in plastic when you buy it. I shall do my best and follow what I’ve found from research. It’s all common sense, but we’ve probably become complacent and opted for convenience over our health without realising the enormity of it all.

I don’t think we’ll ever rid ourselves of microplastics altogether—it’s a little too late for that, considering they say it can take 100-1000 years for microplastics to break down naturally —but we can try by not supporting the purchase of plastic products where we can and implementing alternatives and opting for a waste-free environment.

So, I could wallow in what could happen to me with microplastics, but instead, I’m upping the game and spreading awareness. Not everyone will feel the same, but I strongly think that if we believe we can help someone, it is our moral duty to do so. You can take notice and listen if you want; or not, it’s totally up to you.

I hope you’ve learnt a little and can implement some small or significant changes as you can and want to—because the alternative isn’t great if you have microplastics within your body. Microplastics leach out toxic chemicals, cause inflammation, and, like I was told, could metastasise if untreated. I’ve been given a warning from above, and I don’t believe it was just for me, so I’m spreading the awareness to take our health back into our own hands.  Plus, obviously for me when it comes to Microplastics—The Antitode is Methylene Blue.
